Padang Sederhana

Restoran Sederhana began in 1972 as a small Padang eatery owned by Bustaman in Bendungan Hilir Market, Jakarta. In managing his restaurant, Bustaman, who hailed from Lintau, West Sumatra, always adapted his cooking to the general palate, thus reducing the spiciness in his Padang dishes. He also had a signature dish, namely Ayam Pop, which has become widely known.
